If you surf a lot, you understand the need to be able to move freely in the water. Flexibility in what you wear is key. When it’s warm, that means board shorts and the Hurley Phantom 120 is, in my opinion, still the most comfortable board short on the market.
They have been around for a while now and Hurley have done they’re best to confuse the market with a myriad of variations on the original concept but I reckon the Hurley Phantom boardshorts – the 120% stretch, plain colour versions with the little silver Hurley logos – are still head and neck above the other ‘technical’ boardshorts that have now flooded the market by every other conceivable boardshort manufacturer.
I feel like I’m naked when I surf in them…free as a bird…and that is a good thing.
What do you think? Are there better options out there?
