Hello,
So I’ve started surfing a few months ago with a friend of mine.
We’re traveling across South America for about half a year.
In terms of experience we’ve got a little bit less than a month of experience with waves.
We know how to pop up and do basic turns, how to surf along the wave.
We’re currently staying in Uruguay for a month and would like to purchase a board for ourselves.
My physics:
height: 1.81 m’
Weight: 73 kg
Friends physics:
Height: 1.67 m’
Weight: 63 kg
After doing some research (on boards and defining our skill level) we’ve come to the conclusion that we’re at the 3/4 of the BEGINNER stage or at the very end of it.
Main debate is between Mini-Malibu and Evolution.
We’re also having small/medium waves most of the year.(back home)
Would be happy to hear from your experience.
(Which board is better for us and what sizes)
Thanks in advance.
