Home › Forums › Have You Ridden This Surfboard? › Does anyone own a 5'8 or 5'10 dominator?
Trying to choose between a 5’8 or 5’10 dominator. I’m 41yrs old, 5’6 and weigh between 160-165. Been surfing for 25yrs but don’t get out much anymore. Over my family vacation in rodanthe on hatteras island Nc we scored some nice waves and I got motivated again so I’m looking for a new board. I currently ride a big guy tri(6’8). When I bought it used I weighed 185lbs. But I’m in better shape now feel more fit. Would appreciate some feedback on the dominator if there’s anyone out there my size that owns one 5’8 or 5’10.
Your in with some luck. I have previously owned the 5’8 Dom and rate it as one of my all time favourite boards. I weighed in at 80kg and felt super comfortable on the smaller size. If anything I could have gone a 5’6. Unfortunately years later I delaminates it and retired it to the surfboard graveyard.
Excellent choice for small fun waves
