G’day Guys, Ive recently seen Dane Reynolds new small wave board called the “Sampler” and was curious as to how this would perform against JS latest model the “Monsta Box”. If anyone has ridden either of the two boards it would be great to get some feedback. I am currently looking for a new small wave board to surf in sydney and up the north coast. Im an intermediate-advanced surfer and have been surfing for 7 years, and am currently trying to find a super fast but easy manoeuvrable board for summer. My current go-to board is a JS Monsta 3, which is ideal if its above 4ft with some push but would like something for smaller days that can also handle punchy beach breaks. I have looked at the specifications for the “Sampler” however on the website is it not presented as a dynamic and vertical board, more as a “positional and cruise” type of surfboard. However some early reviews have stated its incredibly fast and easy to turn. The board itself looks like hybrid short board for small punchy beach breaks.
Any suggestions or experience on either of these two boards would be great.
Thanks
