Offshore. Solid. Groundswell. Goody gum drops. Manly Beach, on the Northern Beaches of (the best part of) Sydney lit up, dishing out big walls, big tubes and big beatings. Good times!
Woo hoo hoo! Wooooooo, we’re going surfing! It’s gonna be amazing! Hey, this is Ben. This is Benny’s Boardroom.
We had a nice solid swell come through last week and there was a bit of East in the swell direction. Sydney loves a bit of East in the swell and you can see there’s some nice solid waves coming through, all fanned offshore at this particular spot. There’s a bit of wind around that day but this spot loves the wind direction. As you can see, there’s nice and offshore. Few big closeouts, few big beatings.
I copped several big beatings but I also had some really good waves, and I was surfing on the Channel Islands Bunny Chow [See the Review…], which is right there. You are a good Bunny Chow. That was the right board to have in those conditions. Anyway, there was some guys getting out there, getting some good waves. Guys getting some big tubes, and again, some guys talking some big drops and stacking, like that guy. I took a couple of those as well. Always good to go out and push yourself a little bit and take off on some bigger stuff and some better waves. It’s always nice, I think, when you get a nice punchy well through to test yourself and test your equipment a bit.
I think this guy gets a nice little ride and does some big hacks. There’s hack number one and then he gets a little hack at the end, and that’s it. I just wanted to share some footage from a session last week. Hope you’re doing well. Thank you so much for watching, and hit subscribe. Take care.[See the Full Channel Islands Bunny Chow Review…]
