What’s the difference between the boards?
PJ is slightly wider & shorter and holds the volume further into the rails than the 107.
Would 107 be better in poor little sucky beachies due to this?
I think the 107 have more foam in the tail which means it will carry through flatter sections when you have more weight on the back than you should. Its a very forgiving board with lots of room to perform in better surf. I think both boards are good grovelers but the PJ reminds me of a short longboard with a performance pulled in tail. I PJ is wider but shorter and the 107 is longer but narrower. It really depends on what type of surfing you want to do. Do you want a little more skatey feel or more surfboard feel? PJ skate, 107 surf. I personally have the 107 and i always think what if…. i had a PJ just because i was every board made!! hahaha you alway want what you dont have. lol
