Looking at options for a board that is for chest to overhead waves. The waves I surf rarely get hollow but I would like the board to handle bigger waves around me that are less hollow as well as when I travel to more hollow destinations. I don’t think it needs to be a full on step up but a board that can handle overhead surf well.I am an average surfer and 170 pounds. I tend to be bit more on a front footed surfer so I like the wide point a little forward. I also like a little tail rocker but not extreme.
